Vincy Jewels becomes undefeated winner of 4th ECCB International Netball Series
Vincy Jewels handed over Grenada their second and most significant loss of the 2024 tournament.

The Vincy Jewels of St Vincent and the Grenadines became the Champions of the 4th ECCB International Netball Series after defeating Grenada by the scores 59-50 in the final game. The finals held in Saint Lucia on 28th September, 2024 at Beausejour Indoor Facility, Gros Islet Saint Lucia.
The Vincy Jewels handed over Grenada their second and most significant loss of the 2024 tournament. The Vincentians played unbeaten, winning all seven of their matches, defeating Grenada in the final match of the 2024 version 59-50.
The quarter scores being 12–11, 27-24, 43-38, and 59 -50 went all in favour of the Vincentians. Despite suffering from lower back pain, the goal-shooter, Maryann Frederick scored 54 out of 60 attempts and was entitled as the Most Accurate Shooter for her exceptional performance throughout the tournament.
Meanwhile, Kristiana Christopher netted 5 of 7 attempts and was bestowed with the tag of Most Valuable Player for St Vincent and the Grenadines team. Grenada’s Carlene Alexander scored 36 from 39 attempts made, and Celina Brown scored 14 from 22.
The management of the Vincy Jewels took to their social media accounts and lauded all the players. They extended congratulations and stated “Vincy Jewels you have done the job 7/7 undefeated Champions of the ECCB International Netball Series in St Lucia.”
Notably, eight netball teams from across the region competed against each other to claim the title of 4th ECCB International Netball Series. The teams who participated in this tournament includes, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The ECCB International Netball Series is a tournament which plays a huge role in improving the netball in the member countries. It also provides a great opportunity to all the young women to enhance their skills and techniques and offers them with an avenue for their development both socially and physically.

The ECCB International Netball Series was launched in 2019 with a vision to offer an opportunity to all the teams competing in netball to play global matches and enhance their rankings on an international platform.
