TTMS shares sunny weather for T&T, Windward and Leeward Island
Trinidad & Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) shared that the people of Trinidad and Tobago may experience predominantly sunny and breezy weather conditions. It is expected that there might be a few afternoon showers.

Weather update, January 9, 2024: Trinidad & Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) shared that the people of Trinidad and Tobago may experience predominantly sunny and breezy weather conditions. It is expected that there might be a few afternoon showers.
As per TTMS, the night will be fair, with a brief shower at times.
The Windward Island
The people may witness partly cloudy and breezy weather conditions with a few showers throughout the day. The night will remain clear and cool.
Leeward Islands
According to the weather forecast reports, the day will remain sunny and breezy with a few chances (20%) of an isolated shower. The night will be clear and cool.
Marine Forecast
The seas will remain moderate. Additionally, spring tides are in effect. All marine interests are advised to exercise caution, especially during the high tide.
Waves Forecast
The waves in the open waters could range between 1.5 m to 2.5 m, and they will remain 1.0 m in the sheltered or covered areas.

Additionally, the people of Trinidad, Tobago and The Southern Windwards experienced partly cloudy and breezy weather with a few light to moderate showers during the day.
Air quality
The air quality is generally acceptable for the majority of people; however, the sensitive groups may face minor to moderate symptoms from long-term exposure.
It is to be noted that there will be a mild or moderate concentration of Saharan dust across the regions of Trinidad and Tobago.
