Trinidad and Tobago: NCRHA invites general public to attend TB Awareness Walk
Trinidad and Tobago: North Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA) has recently shared an update regarding the Tuberculosis Awareness Walk.

                                                    Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago: North Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA) has recently shared an update regarding the Tuberculosis Awareness Walk, organised to observe World Tuberculosis Day 2023. The world commemorates the day on March 24 annually to raise awareness and knowledge about the disease.
While inviting the general public of Trinidad and Tobago to TB Awareness Walk and Health Fair, the NCRHA stated, “In recognition of World Tuberculosis Day, the North Central Regional Health Authority invites you to our TB Awareness Walk & Health Fair.”
As per the update, the walk will be hosted on Friday, March 24 2023, and the timing for the same will be 6:30 am – 12:00 noon. The walk will be between Caura Hospital Entrance and Eddie Hart Savannah, according to the update by the Authority.
I invited and stated, “Walk with us as we build public awareness about the global epidemic of TB and efforts to eradicate the disease!”
The update informed that during the walk and health fair, free medical services would be provided to the attendees. The services to be provided are:
– Specialist Medical Consultations
– Blood Sugar Testing
– Blood Pressure Testing
– HIV Testing and Counselling
– Flu and Covid-19 Vaccinations
– Nutritional Consultations
– BMI Testing and lots more!
The NCRHA has also informed that live performances by:
• Ravi B
• North West Laventille Cultural Movement, and so much more!
As per the update by the North Central Regional Health Authority, some of the activities will be hosted for the fun and entertainment of kids and the young population. The activities to be organised will be:
• Face Painting for Kids
• Games and Fun Activities
Light Refreshments will be provided during the activities and events. “Come out with your teammates, your family, your friends, the kids or your crew! Walk with us!” NCRHA stated.
“YES! WE CAN END TB!” NCRHA concluded with hope!
