St Kitts and Nevis: PM Terrance Drew led MOH commits to upgrading health sector

Dr Terrance Drew, the prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis and the Minister of Health, is working diligently with his team at the Ministry to address a number of issues that the healthcare sector is facing. The Ministry has identified several pressing issues that need immediate attention from the authorities.
The Ministry of Health, led by Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew, has seen several changes in the workings since the new administration took charge of the healthcare sector. Dr Drew has talked to the media regarding the changes they have instituted while trying to handle the situation in the health sector.
The Ministry of Health is showing empathy and accommodating all the changes the new government has implemented since the government. The Ministry has claimed that they will allow will not allow the positive changes that have been put in place by the authorities.
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Sharon Archibald, has also talked to the media regarding the development of the healthcare industry. She has claimed that stabilising the healthcare sector of St Kitts and Nevis and the transformation must occur simultaneously.
She believes this will ensure that people can continue to get access to quality healthcare and get better outcomes for the people. Meanwhile, the prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis also talked about the upgrades that the government is introducing. Accordingly, Dr Terrance Drew also talked to the media regarding the construction of the new hospital.
In this regard, Dr Drew shared that constructing a new hospital is not a choice but a necessity. He shared that St Kitts and Nevis needs a smart hospital which is technologically driven and climate-conscious. Dr Drew announced that St Kitts expects stronger hurricanes, and the present hospital cannot withstand the climates.
Taking support from the same, Dr Terrance Drew stated that a lot of the other infrastructure also needs to be upgraded. With this, he clarified that the cost of upgradation would almost approach the costs of the new hospital, and the new hospital would serve the people better.
