Castries, Saint Lucia: The Castries-based animal welfare organisation, HelpAWS recently welcomed people from Chicago to come forward and adopt little puppies and provide them with a forever home.
The organisation took it to social media and appealed to the people to come forward and take the little happiness charms to their homes. The social media post welcoming the foreigners read, “Hey, Chicago! We know it gets cold there in the windy city this time of the year, and we’ve got the perfect thing to warm your toes and your heart!”
Furthermore, it highlighted that HelpAWS has the opportunity to send some adorable little pups to Chicago in the next few weeks. The problem is, we don’t have anywhere for them to go once they get there!
“We hate to miss any chance to get pups off the island and on their way to the next chapter in their lives, so we are hoping YOU can help spread the word and share this story with us! We are currently accepting adoption applications from people in Chicago or the surrounding area who are willing to pick them up at the airport when these babies arrive on April 14th,” it mentioned.
Further, while asking for donations and support from the followers, the dog shelter mentioned, “If you or someone you know has been considering adopting a puppy, please go to www.helpaws.com/adopt to see our available adoptable and complete an online application.”
In conclusion, it highlighted that HelpAWS continues to work in Saint Lucia to rescue and find forever homes for so many animals in need, along with advocating for better living conditions for those animals who live on this beautiful island. Finding loving forever homes is crucial in being able to help these animals live the life they deserve, where they never again have to go hungry, live in fear, or suffer from neglect. We need YOU so we can help them!
