Castries, Saint Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investment and Creative Industries, Culture and Information of Saint Lucia – Ernest Hilaire, recently participated in Chef’s Table Luncheon hosted by the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA). The event was organised at the Sandals Grande Ballroom.
The update regarding the same was shared on social media by the minister. He noted, “Today I attended the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA) Chef’s Table Luncheon at the Sandals Grande Ballroom.”
Furthermore, the tourism minister expressed his gratitude and shared a glimpse of the successful and fruitful event. As per the update by Ernest Hilaire, he had the opportunity to provide some brief remarks on regarding key milestones within our Tourism Industry as well as provide a vision for where the sector is heading.
He also informed that the Luncheon was attended by representatives from the large and boutique hotel sector along with staff from the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) and Saint Lucia Air and Seaports Authority (SLASPA). Presentations were also made by the mentioned agencies as they pertained to airlift into Saint Lucia, destination marketing and the investment and business climate.
In conclusion, the tourism minister expresses gratitude and pride that the tourism industry of the country is blooming and touching new heights. “Our tourism sector is growing, and we will continue to ensure that it becomes a positive sum equation for the benefit of all Saint Lucians,” Tourism Minister Hilaire noted.
