Puerto Rico opened its doors for the international travelers
Those who are not vaccinated have also given the option to show their negative results of the COVID-19 PCR Test.

Puerto Rico: New travel guidelines released on tourism with changes in covid-19 guidelines with which it is expected by them to have a high number of travellers to arrive in future. The travellers will not have to go through the local curfew rules that have been imposed since March 2020. now the fully vaccinated person can upload his or her vaccination card before entering.
Those who are not vaccinated have also given the option to show their negative results of the COVID-19 PCR Test.
“Puerto Rico has prioritized health and safety from the onset of the pandemic, becoming the first U.S. destination to implement an Island-wide curfew, among other measures developed to safeguard residents and visitors,” said Brad Dean, discover Puerto Rico’s CEO. “As restrictions loosen, we look forward to welcoming travellers seeking to responsibly explore our Island, immerse themselves in an unforgettable culture, unique natural wonders and delicious cuisine, while taking advantage of the ease of travel that comes with Puerto Rico being a U.S. territory, including no need for a passport for U.S. citizens.”
A person is supposed to go through the entire process of vaccination, and the final shot of 2nd dose has been injected between the time span of 2 weeks from the date of registering for travelling to the island. Before arriving at the island, the person has to fill the health declaration and upload the COVID-19 vaccination card to the Puerto Rico Health Department. After this, that particular traveller will receive the Q.R. code at the airport, and after scanning it, the traveller will be allowed to left the airport.
A new slot of rules has been designed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for the persons who are not vaccinated till now but want to travel to Puerto Rico. They will have to produce a negative result for the COVID-19 PCR test that should be performed within 72 hrs from travelling to the island.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) currently lists Puerto Rico at “Level 4: Very High Level of Covid-19,” and advises travellers to be fully vaccinated before visiting, follow local recommendations, practice social distancing and wear a mask—over your nose and mouth—while visiting.
As Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, so U.S. citizens travelling here do not need any test reports if they are fully vaccinated, and travellers from the U.S. don’t need any passport to travel here, said govt of Puerto Rico
