Caribbean: The Caribbean Airlines has announced that the Piarco International Airport Lounge of Trinidad and Tobago will remain close for the period of nearly two months, from May 3, 2022 (Tuesday) to June 30, 2022 (Thursday).
The airlines have expressed gratitude to the customers for understanding and managing the inconvenience. Furthermore, it stated that it has been working to make the waiting time of its customer more relaxing and soothing.
The Airlines took an official social media page to inform and stated, “Our Caribbean Club Lounge at the Piarco International Airport, Trinidad, will be closed from May 03 to June 30, 2022, to facilitate renovations. We will appreciate your understanding as we are working to serve you. And look forward to welcoming you for a Renewed priority experience where you can relax or work before your flight.”
“As we continue our promise to Reset Expectations, we are delighted to announce that we are redesigning our Lounge at Piarco International Airport for a more refined pre-flight experience,” it added.
However, the airlines’ authority has invited the members of Business Class passengers and Caribbean Club members to visit to the VIP Flyers’ Club during the course of closure.
The authorities informed, “During this closure, Business Class passengers and Caribbean Club members are welcome to visit the VIP Flyers’ Club located after the security checkpoint on the upper level.”
“At check-in, your agent will provide you with a Lounge invitation Card, which will grant you access to the area,” it added.
It further informed, “Access to the VIP Flyers’ Club is subject to availability; if there is no space, you will be accommodated at the Hero’s Sports Lounge. Please note that the lounge is open daily from 5 am to midnight.”
