Dr Denzil Douglas set to launch his second book, celebrating 35 years of service

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas, is all set to launch his second book “Making a Difference” today on Thursday, 21st March 2024, at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium, ECCB, BirdRock at 6 pm.

This book launch is being held in collaboration with the Coral Anniversary commemorating Dr Denzil Douglas’s 35 years of exemplary service and leadership to the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis. The 35th-anniversary celebrations committee has extended an invitation to all the residents of the community to attend a Book Launch “Making a Difference.”

When sharing details about the upcoming book launch, Dr Denzil Douglas extended an invitation to the residents. The prospective attendees who may require transportation assistance to the event due to lacking access to transport facilities to reach out to Sandra Swanston of Dieppe Bay for further assistance.

Notably, Dr Denzil Douglas has successfully completed his remarkable journey of 35 years of service for the development of the Federation. The Minister was first elected on 21st March 1989 and since then he has been continuously performing diligently, ensuring the growth of the nation in all the sectors of the country.

The government of St Kitts and Nevis has also lauded his leadership and said that the nation has achieved significant milestones which reflects on his unwavering commitment and dedication towards the betterment of the nation and its citizens.

Moreover, the entire nation is celebrating 35 years of Denzil Douglas and has appreciated his impressive journey for elevating the nation to greater heights under his guidance and stewardship.

Recently, a surprise toast was also held for Dr Douglas in the Parliamentary Lounge of Government Headquarters. It was attended by past and present cabinet colleagues, ambassadors and other dignitaries.

Minister Douglas has always played a pivotal role in key regional and international organizations. His determination has brought the nation several laurels.

Other celebratory activities for the month of March include a health fair which will be conducted on Saturday, 23rd March and a Health Walk on 30th March in the venue St Pauls Start.
