Beginners Farmer Training Programme to train farmers in St Kitts and Nevis

St Kitts and Nevis: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries & Marine Resources of St Kitts and Nevis introduces a beginner farmer training programme aiming at providing knowledge and skills to beginner farmers.
The ministry highlighted the key areas regarding which the training will be provided, and this involves crop selection, varieties of crops, post-harvest management, crop management and many others.
Considerably, the farmers are called upon to sign up for the training this month. And, the ones wishing to be part of this training can have the information and queries solved by giving a call on 467 – 1841 or can pay a visit to the Department of Agriculture, St Kitts and Nevis.
Not only this, also the ministry can be reached out through email on the official address of the ministry that is agriculture@gov.kn.
The ministry even outlined the question connected to the farming methodologies to check the excitement for the training programme among the beginner farmers
“Are you ready to gain endless knowledge and skills related to various methods of farming?,” mentioned the ministry.
“ Want to learn how to manage your crops for maximum production capabilities?,” asked the ministry.
Also, crop management tips, irrigation, water management, pest and disease management are part of this training. This will help farmers gain knowledge and skills related to all which is required to get fruitful results in farming.
Interestingly, the people engaged in farming are showing their interest with great excitement and some even presented their interest by commenting on the social media post by the agriculture ministry, St Kitts and Nevis.

Some even asked various questions including, “ how long is this program running for” and “ Kindly let me know when and where.”
All such words evidently reflect the need for initiative in the nation and the work which the ministry is doing for the betterment of the country.
