Bahamas: The island of Bahamas has been shaken by the demise of former beauty queen and health and wellness advocate Anva Roberts. It is to be noted that Anva Roberts passed away on Wednesday, 10th January 2024, at her home in Bimini. The reason behind her death is still not known.
Anva Roberts, the exceptional beauty was one of the “fabulous fifteen” contestants competing for the esteemed title of Miss Bahamas World in 2007. This pageant was the turning point of her career as she earned a huge spotlight and made a remarkable presence in the industry.
Along with that, the former beauty has also participated in Miss Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas. Her beautiful looks, humble personality and “Island Gal” innocence played a major role in earning her a spot in the Top 10.
Moreover, the President of Miss Bahamas Organization, Michelle Malcolm, stated that the passing of Anva Roberts has affected not only the organization but the entire batch of MBO 2007.
“Anva was the epitome of what MBO stands for. As a contestant, she represented what it means to be beautiful inside and out,” said Michelle Martin, the President of MBO.
He also added that Anva always stood by the organization’s motto of “beauty with a purpose.” As a health advocate, she has played a huge role in enhancing the healthy lifestyle among the people of the island nation. She has always been very passionate and has shown unwavering dedication and commitment to her duties.
Notably, Miss Bahamas Organization is a company that promotes and extends support to young women through their passion for pageantry with a purpose. They focus on bringing the best out of every woman by enhancing her personality and appropriately guiding her.
Her sudden demise has sent ripples of shock and sorrow through the entire community.
The fans of the former beauty also mourned her demise and extended their condolences. One of her fans with a Facebook account named Patrice Allen Smith commented, “Condolences to the Miss Bahamas Organization, her families and friends. May her soul rest in peace and rise in glory.”
Another person with a Facebook handle, Portia Brown, commented the following: “Condolences to the family and may her soul rest in peace.”
