Antigua and Barbuda to witness first ABYMA Industry Expo on Nov 9 and 10
The Antigua and Barbuda Yachting and Marine Association (ABYMA) has declared that the country will witness the happening of the first-ever ABYMA Industry Expo.

Antigua and Barbuda: The Antigua and Barbuda Yachting and Marine Association (ABYMA) has declared that the country will witness the happening of the first-ever ABYMA Industry Expo. As per the latest announcement, the Expo will be held on November 9 and 10, 2022, at the National Sailing Academy.
The event will focus on making the citizens of Antigua and Barbuda aware of the various elements of the yachting industry and will come to know about the career opportunities within it. To that end, the ABYMA also hope to encourage people with transferable skills to consider making a move to yachting. The ABYMA has informed that this event will talk place just before the commencing of the peak season of the industry.
The event has been sanctioned by the Ministry of Tourism, the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority and the Education Ministry. Many businesses, as well as organizations, have already signed up to participate in the Expo, including Ondeck, The National Parks Authority, A& F Sails, Antigua Sailing Week, and Ultra Refit.
While stating about the showcase, President Franklyn Braithwaite stated, “Through this industry, many of the Antiguans and Barbudans will be benefited, and the event can be very lucrative. The people of the nation will come to know about most of the aspects of the industry by visiting the showcase, and the width of the roles will also be understood.”
As per the ABYMA, access to the show will be free of cost. The association has furthermore explained that the committee has been working in collaboration with the Ministry of Education to host the fifth form. The Education Ministry will assist the association in inviting the students and public to visit yachtsmen and take the opportunity to network and learn about the businesses in the industry.
