St Kitts and Nevis: The country is ready to witness Agri – Christmas Night Market 2023 on December 21 (Thursday) at Basseterre Public Market from 5pm to 10pm.
The Agri – Christmas Night is going to be hosted in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Marine Resources and Cooperatives and Ministry of Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
Interestingly, the musical entertainment at the market by DJ Sugar and the Reigning Road March Champs: The Grand Masters Band are going to fill the area with complete excitement.
The registration form for the market are available at various places which are as follows:
- Public Market
- Department of Agriculture LaGuerite
- Department of Marine Resources
- Ministry of Agriculture Building #16 Port Zante
All the small vendors and small businesses can register themselves and showcase their goods at the market for sale. And, the fee for the registration is $10.
This Agri – Christmas night market is going to be the biggest and the greatest. Even, can be in the books.
Importantly, the admission at the market is completely free of cost.
Moreover, there are two events to be conducted at the market which are:
- Watermelon Eating Competition
- Egg Eating Contest
Probing ahead, Nevis Abattoir as well is going to be the part of this market and will be serving following food items having different prices at their stall which are listed as follows:
- Smoked Chicken ranging between $30 and $60
- Smoked Ham having price from $70 to $100
- Diced Pork from $35 to $48
- Spicy Italian Sausage at $20 to $27 per pk
- Whole Chicken at $8 per lb
- Rotisserie Chicken from $35 to $48
- B – fast (Pork) Sausage at $20 to $27 per pk
- Pork Chops at $9 per lb
- Diced Chicken at $7 per lb
Also, Nevis Abattoir presents the food items every year at the Agri Christmas Market and such kind of markets provide small scale vendors with the great opportunity to showcase their products at the local level to the citizens of the country.
