Silver Airways cancel flight operations to/from South Bimini Airport

Silver Airways announced the cancellation of all flights to and from South Bimini Airport till 2nd August 2024. The airlines have urged for the cooperation from the public and have promised to soon to restart their services, ensuring safe travel of all the passengers.

The reason behind the cancellation of the flights came out to be the disruption created due to the inability of the airport to repair their firefighting and rescue vehicle. As per the reports, it has been unserviceable since 24th July 2024 which has resulted in the cancellation of the operations.

The Silver Airways also added that despite their constant requests for updates and solutions, the airport has still not been able to resolve this critical safety issue. The airline noted that flights can not be in operation unless the updates are done otherwise it can lead to create harm and threat to the passenger’s safety.

While apologizing for the inconvenience, Silver Airways noted “We regrets to inform you that all flights to and from South Bimini Airport are expected to be cancelled through August 2, 2024.”
