St Vincent and the Grenadines: The investigating officers of the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force arrested three people in connection to the discovery of two burnt bodies in the North Central Windward community of Park Hill on Monday. 

The two burnt bodies have been recognised by the family members of the deceased and have been identified as Marvin Barker and Calvert “Vert” Smart.

During the investigation, the authorities arrested three individuals, residents of South Rivers. The three individuals are currently helping the officers with the ongoing investigation. 

The swift action by the authorities shed light on the unwavering commitment and dedication of the officers who strived hard in order to get the culprit punished for the offence they committed. 

Moreover, they have also appealed to the citizens of the nation to help them in their further investigation. The officers have promised to keep the details of the informer confidential, ensuring the safety and security of that individual.

While sharing the details, the authorities stated that person with any information can contact Police Emergency at 999/911, the Georgetown Police Station at 784-458-6229, the Criminal Investigations Department at 784-456-1810, or the Colonarie Police Station at 784-458-6250.

Several residents of the community flooded social media accounts with their views and opinions on the incident.

One person with a Facebook handle Patrice Dorsette commented “Well hearing this is good news but am so sceptical because this is not the 1st time persons are getting picked up but not charged and then released.”

Another person with a Facebook account Hennessy Whyte commented the following “Well we know for sure it’s not a one-man job. I mean two ppl were killed. This is good news still, it means the police are doing their jobs and investigating.”

The residents of the community have appreciated the authorities for their immediate action on the matter and have urged them to implement stringent laws and measures in order to curb the increasing crime rates.
