President of Haiti, Jovenel Moise, tweeted, “I’m at the Department of Justice and Public Safety (MJSP) to chair a crucial meeting of the National Police (CSPN). Important topics will be discussed, among others, the general security conditions in the country.”
President of Haiti, Jovenel Moise, tweeted, “Insecurity has changed the scale and is knocking on all doors in our territory. Now is the time to act. The security forces must get in motion to fight the deadly and devastating phenomena of kidnapping, organized crime, and banditry.”
Furthermore, President of Haiti, Jovenel Moise, tweeted, The police are instructed to step up their efforts to fight against insecurity. They must better coordinate their strategies, the information obtained, their interventions, and also all the actions necessary for this purpose.
Moreover, President of Haiti, Jovenel Moise added, clear instructions have been passed to the Ministries of Finance and Justice to mobilize the State’s relevant technical services to trace the use of funds from the kidnapping.
A Haiti resident commented, “The president said he came to fight underdevelopment, unemployment while forgetting that the people need security more than food, more than development, more than money.”
On the other hand, On March 1, 2021, he participated in an enlarged meeting of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN) around the climate of insecurity that prevails in the country. It has been decided to create an anti-kidnapping cell that will operate under the authority of the DG of the PNH.
A resident, Joseph Erislet, commented, “I thank you, my president, for your work; despite the opposition don’t understand your efforts, take courage to reach them.”
