Castries, Saint Lucia: Christopher Boucher, an NBA star born in Saint Lucia, is in his hometown and has been spending his time with his family and friends. Recently, Boucher presented school supplies and backpacks to the students of Monchy R.C. Primary School.
According to the update shared by the Saint Lucia Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development, and Innovation, the NBA star mentioned that the school has an important place in his heart as his mother once attended it.
He further highlighted that this is his return to his homeland, which has provided him with a lot.
The ministry also informed the general public that Boucher would also visit secondary schools in Saint Lucia, including Saint Lucia Sports Academy, when he returned to the island of his birth.
Christopher Boucher – a star for the Toronto Raptors:
Boucher was born in Saint Lucia on January 11, 1993. He plays for the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Canadian-Saint Lucian basketball professional has been playing the game since his college days for the Oregon Ducks. His playing positions are – Power forward/centre. As per the reports, his listed height is 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m), and his weight is 200 lb (91 kg).
Initially, from 2017 to 2018, Boucher played for the Golden State Warriors, and next year, from 2017 to 2018, he went to the Santa Cruz Warriors. Since 2018, Boucher has been playing for the Toronto Raptors and has become a star player for the franchise.
