St Kitts and Nevis: The monthly press conference of St Kitts and Nevis in which Prime Minister Timothy Harris addresses the plan of action for stimulating growth in the nation.
In this conference, the cabinet members, defense members, and several ministers were also present. PM Timothy Harris reminded everybody that this was his first conference of 2021.
He stated that the government of nation aims to rebuild our economy and country, both of which are disrupted by the rough storms created by covid-19. Besides, 1332 officials received paychecks. The government will work to reduce debts. Both the private and public sector combine their efforts to stimulate growth in the economy.
More jobs are coming!
The government will extend in, resulting in more jobs, economy, and salaries. The construction of buildings will start in a few weeks. On the other hand, over 3 million capital has been utilized to grant employments to carpenters, frontline workers, operators, saloons, barbers, and other operators will be employed in the project. PM Harris said, “you name them; we will employ them.”
Government’s plan of action
PM Harris stated, “My government will work with institutions for a safest and conducive environment for all of one. “He pays his primary concern to the student who was attacked in a recent shark attack.
He promised that all the work that can stimulate the nation’s growth is in the advanced stage, it was slightly delayed as a consequence of covid-19. The government aims to provide modern development, and significant measures modifications have been done.
St Kitts and Nevis undergo development in technical, infrastructure, and updates in broadcast, production media, transmission spaces, and television.
What about Vaccines?
PM stated that “we aim to vaccinate 70 percent of the population. Mass vaccination will proceed. His major concern was to discuss the crime rates in St Kitts and Nevis.
He proclaimed that there is a reduction of 40 percent in crime rates and Crime rates must be reduced more, homicides reduced to 40 percent, year after year detection rate 40 percent decreases, and safety and security of St Kitts and Nevis reduce naturally lower as possible.
The government of St Kitts and Nevis is doing its best and serve citizens. He also urged people to practice individually to reduce crime rates to make St Kitts and Nevis ‘the safest island in the world.’
