WINAir introduces direct flights to and from Barbados for 2024 winter season

Caribbean: WINAir introduced direct and daily service of flights to and from Barbados which will start operation on November 15, 2024. Several destinations including St Maarten, Saint Lucia, Martinique and Dominica will be provided service from Barbados on daily basis with the use of ATR-42 aircraft.

The flight will operate 6 flights a week between St Maarten and Barbados for the upcoming winter season. While the service on the route from Barbados to Saint Lucia, Martinique will operate for two times a week and the service for Dominica will fly for three times a week.

The service has been announced to expand the reach and connectivity of WINAir in the region and provide greater possibilities to travel to and from Barbados. As per the reports, the airline offers service to 16 destinations with 40 routes with three aircraft including ATR42-500 and five Twin Otters.

WINAir also launched introductory fares at $119 to celebrate the new routes for a limited period of time. Travellers are asked to travel between November 15 and December 15, 2024 in order to get benefited from the offer.

The schedule of the service has been launched, including:

WINAir will provide service from St Maarten to Barbados on Monday with the use of WM-863 aircraft, departing at 10:30 and arriving at 12:30. The service for Tuesday will be operated by WM-851 with the departure of 16:00 and the arrival of 18:25.

On Wednesday, the service will be operated by WM-855 with the departure time of 15:45 and the arrival time of 18:10. WM-851 will provide service from St Maarten to Barbados on Thursday, departing at 16:00 and arriving at 18:25.

The service on Friday and Saturday will be provided by WM-869 and WM-855 with the departure time of 11:05 and the arrival time of 14:05.

The return flight from Barbados to St Maarten will be operated on Monday with WM-863 and on Wednesday with WM-852. It will provide a return service two times on Friday with WM-869.

For Saint Lucia to Barbados, the flight will be operated by WM-852 and WM-872 on Wednesday and Friday, while the returning flight from Barbados to Saint Lucia will be provided on Tuesday with WM-851.

From Dominica to Barbados, the service will be operated by WM-851 and WM-855 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Three-time weekly service from Barbados to Dominica will be operated two times on Wednesday with WM-852 and on Saturday with WM-856.
