T&T reports 155 new COVID positive cases
Trinidad and Tobago island reported 155 new positive cases of the COVID-19 mutant on 14 September 2021, according to the report of the Health Ministry. With the arrival of these cases, the active number of coronavirus infections rise to 3,769.

Trinidad and Tobago: Trinidad and Tobago island reported 155 new positive cases of the COVID-19 mutant on 14 September 2021, according to the report of the Health Ministry. With the arrival of these cases, the active number of coronavirus infections rise to 3,769.
In comparison, a total of 42,208 individuals have been recovered from the deadly COVID-19 virus.
In total, around 272 people are in the hospital. The Health Ministry of Trinidad and Tobago further informed in the report that a total of 5 new deaths have been recorded, taking the total death rate to 1,386 on the Caribbean island as of 14 September 2021.
As per to the report, there are a total of 67 patients are in the step-down facilities, about 127 individuals are in the state-quarantine facilities. A total of 3,397 individuals have isolated themselves at their respective homes following the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the data shared in the health ministry’s report of T&T.
So far, as of 14 September 2021, in Trinidad and Tobago, a total of 548,713 individuals have received their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, whereas, in total, 448,802 individuals have welcomed their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and now are fully vaccinated against the deadly COVID-19.
According to the COVID-19 update report, since the deadliest pandemic started, the Caribbean island has reported a total of 47, 363 confirmed cases of the virus.
If we look at the statistics of COVID-19 testing, a total of 326,332 individuals have been tested for the novel coronavirus, out of which a total of 139,782 individuals have been tested at private facilities, whereas the remaining tests were conducted at public healthcare facilities.
