Trinidad and Tobago confirms 9 additional COVID cases and 13 deaths

With the arrival of these cases, the active number of coronavirus infections has increased to 4,795.
In total, around 335 people are in the hospital. The Health Ministry of Trinidad and Tobago further informed in the report that a total of 13 new deaths have been recorded, taking the total death toll to 1,709 on the Caribbean island as of November 1, 2021.
As per the Health Ministry’s report, there are a total of 28 patients in the step-down facilities, about 72 individuals are in the state-quarantine facilities.
A total of 4,342 individuals have isolated themselves at their homes following the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the data shared in the health ministry’s report of T&T.
According to the COVID-19 update report, since the deadliest pandemic started, the Caribbean island has reported a total of 57,419 confirmed cases of the virus.
If we look at the statistics of COVID-19 testing, a total of 395,533 individuals have been tested for the novel coronavirus, out of which a total of 169,467 individuals have been tested at private facilities, whereas the remaining tests were conducted at public healthcare facilities.
As of November 1, 2021, in Trinidad and Tobago, a total of 623,313 individuals have received their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, whereas, in total, 602,032 individuals have welcomed their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and now are fully vaccinated against the deadly COVID-19.
