Trinidad and Tobago: 10 more people lost their lives to COVID-19 virus
The island of Trinidad and Tobago has recorded 134 new positive cases of the COVID-19 mutant on 25 September 2021, according to the report of the Health Ministry.

Trinidad and Tobago: The island of Trinidad and Tobago has recorded 134 new positive cases of the COVID-19 mutant on 25 September 2021, according to the report of the Health Ministry.
With the arrival of these cases, the active number of coronavirus infections increase to 4,305. In contrast, a total of 44,066 individuals have been recovered from the deadly COVID-19 mutant.
In total, around 291 people are in the hospital. The Health Ministry of Trinidad and Tobago further informed in the report that a total of 10 new deaths have been recorded, taking the total death rate to 1,451 on the Caribbean island as of 25 September 2021.
As per the Health Ministry’s report, there are a total of 74 patients in the step-down facilities, about 143 individuals are in the state-quarantine facilities.
A total of 3,663 individuals have isolated themselves at their respective homes following the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the data shared in the health ministry’s report of T&T.
So far, as of 25 September 2021, in Trinidad and Tobago, a total of 565,940 individuals have received their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, whereas, in total, 475,896 individuals have welcomed their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and now are fully vaccinated against the deadly COVID-19.
According to the COVID-19 update report, since the deadliest pandemic started, the Caribbean island has reported a total of 49,822 confirmed cases of the virus.
If we look at the statistics of COVID-19 testing, a total of 343,953
individuals have been tested for the novel coronavirus, out of which a total of 148,270 individuals have been tested at private facilities, whereas the remaining tests were conducted at public healthcare facilities.
