Total 32 cases of new variant found in St. Kitts and Nevis

St. Kitts and Nevis: The new variant of coronavirus is the latest threat, stimulating terror among people. St. Kitts and Nevis confirmed two cases of the newest variant of COVID-19.
According to reports, the Health Ministry stated that On December 11, 2020, an international traveller arrived in the Federation from the United States of America (USA) via Antigua. At the same time, the returning national citizen arrived on December 1, 2020, from the United States of America. Both the patients have been admitted to quarantine cell to restrict a novel coronavirus spreading in bulk. Medical attention and quarantine is a must. They have been given proper attention and care.
If we follow the total the count then, Health Ministry announced that these extra cases bring the total count of COVID-19 sanctioned reports to 32 with 21 positive reports in St. Kitts and 11 in Nevis.
Health Ministry also stated “Please note that 27 cases have fully recovered with zero deaths. There are now five (5) active cases. These patients remain stable and are being monitored.”
The new variant is more dangerous and transmissible than previous. Hence, we must follow the guidelines given by health organisations like World Health Organisations (WHO). Travelling must be ignored at this time. Countries have banned travelling. People who have been travelled lately must follow fourteen days quarantine. This new mutant of coronavirus is more susceptible to Children as children have receptors which are hospitable than the adults. Health researchers say that this new variant is asymptomatic to fatal.
Reports confirmed that “All front-line workers at the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport (RLBIA), SCARPA and the hotel and tourism sector continue to adhere to the COVID-19 obligations along the containment corridor between the harbours of entry and hotel/luxury suites.”
The Ministry of health also said, “Let us work together to maintain and protect the health and wellbeing of the people of the Federation. Wishing you a warm and happy Holiday Season.”
