Caribbean: The Caribbean Head of the States are recently present in Guyana to attend the Agri-Investment Forum and Expo 2022.
The Forum was conducted from May 19 to May 21.
The Caribbean Leaders landed at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Georgetown and were welcomed by the higher dignitaries of the country, along with President Irfaan Ali.
The Forum explored issues relating to an investment in agriculture and food production. It was hosted by the Government of Guyana and the CARICOM Secretariat and was held under the theme “Investing in Vision 25 by 2025.”
Participants addressed issues linked to agriculture and food production investment, including cross-border investment, climate-smart agriculture, and related infrastructural development.
