Prime Minister Andrew Holness announces Digital Currency and National Identification Bill implementation by Jamaican government via video message from his Facebook official account. He wishes ‘New Year’ to his citizens and declares some significant measures for the community’s development(Jamaicans).

Jamaica: Prime Minister Andrew Holness announces Digital Currency and National Identification Bill implementation by Jamaican government via video message from his Facebook official account. He wishes ‘New Year’ to his citizens and declares some significant measures for the community’s development(Jamaicans).
An initiative of Digital Identifications:
PM Holness stated, “As difficult and challenging as it was, 2020 demonstrated that our greatest problems could only be solved when we cooperate and unite in common cause.”
“As the established setup of the society after the coronavirus, we moved towards the digital society, and for that Jamaica, the government is making its enormous efforts for that we like other countries in the world also moved towards the digital transactions, we also set up digital identifications” PM Andrew Holness added.
The government will also initiate the expansion of broadband internet excess. Free mass vaccination and education to every child is the dream of Jamaican Leader.

PM requests everyone to follow the guidelines and protocols to restrict the expansion of coronavirus.
