He even added that the story from the beginning to the coming periods revolves around the powerful quote, “What you think is who you are, what you do is who you become.” He further added that the party was originally founded as a “Workers League in 1932.”

Also, he mentioned that the party became a heroic force through its efforts, hard work and dedication. It gave voice to the ordinary people, and has done a lot which contributed to the social, economic and political development of St Kitts and Nevis

The persistent determination and hard work of the party have made it possible to achieve what they have gained today. The development in the country through the great contributions of the workers league has made the country one at first.

Even people expressed appreciation for the workers’ league through their comments.

“The beauty of what I am seeing here is one united SKNLP. Let us keep it that way. It was the thoughts of our Forefathers with the motto ” For the Good that we can do,” commented one.

“God bless our nation and continue to cover our men and women who have taken the role to give so much to work for the betterment of people in St Kitts and Nevis. To SKNLP, we the people of this great land say thanks,” mentioned another.

Such words clearly reflected the love people have for the Workers’ League for the contribution they have made in these 92 years and the work they are planning to do for the betterment of the country.

Further, the Prime Minister added that the progressive policies and government structures have marked the leadership in the history of St Kitts and Nevis.

“Let the history of our party, our struggles, our downfalls, our triumphs, and our achievements, continue to encourage and remind us that as people we have toppled our oppressors, fought for the unimaginable, created our own avenues to success and have triumphed amongst giants,” said the Prime Minister.
