Haiti: Prez Moïse appoints Bocchit Edmond as Ambassador to US
President of Haiti, Jovenel Moïse on Thursday took it over to the Social Media to announce the appointment of Bocchit Edmond as Haiti’s Ambassador to the United State of America.

Haiti: President of Haiti, Jovenel Moïse on Thursday took it over to the Social Media to announce the appointment of Bocchit Edmond as Haiti’s Ambassador to the United State of America.
The Facebook post of President read, “I am proud to nominate Former Foreign Affairs and Cultures Minister Bocchit Edmond as Ambassador to Washington. A seasoned professional, who has devoted 29 years to Haitian diplomacy and whose mission is to strengthen the relations between the two countries.”
Bocchit will be replacing Hervé Denis, who was Haiti’s ambassador to the United States for the past two years. Reverting back to President’s social media post said, “I am honoured as Mr President Jovenel Moïse placed his trust in me, a humble person. I will continue to serve my country with patriotism and loyalty.”
