Dominica govt to refurbish oldest school for better educational opportunities

Dominica: Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit, Dominican Prime Minister, declared some vital measures which will promote the development of the nation.
Along with PM Skerrit, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business and Diaspora Relations, Hon. Dr.Kenneth Darroux and Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with specific responsibility for Diaspora Relations, Hon. Edward Registe was also present in the Weekly show Annou Pale.
During the weekly Annou Pale show, PM Skerrit discussed some strategies to enhance development and plan of action to rectify the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. He stated, “My confidence will help the citizens of Dominica to have continuous trust in me that will help to defeat any pandemic.”
Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business and Diaspora Relations, Hon. Dr.Kenneth Darroux stated that the jab of vaccine gave a little bit of fever, which he ensured as a natural process for a human being after immunization. He assured other Dominicans for not taking stress because of these vaccines.
Minister of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with specific responsibility for Diaspora Relations, Hon. Edward Registe discussed some developmental activities in the Dominica.
The government to ensure projects based on fundamental health sector that can upsurge the level of the Medical industry in the nation. Promotion of Dental facilities and other clinical care will be induced in the country. On the other hand, these medical projects are funded by PAHO.
Edward Registe also declared that the government invested three million in the refurbishment of Grand Primary School, which was built 50 years ago.
That school needs immediate renovation as the pillars were destroyed because of natural disasters and time. People are very jubilant and happy after this announcement.
Additionally, this school will not only be limited to the kinder wing or students until the sixth, but the administration is to add adults in this school too for better educational opportunities. The government will provide electronic gadgets like laptops to college students for easy access to the proper study.
Along with that, approximately two million capital has been invested in the places which were destroyed by the hurricane and other natural disasters.
