Jamaica: Prime Minister Andrew Holness approached all Jamaicans on the occasion of Christmas via a video on his official account.
“This year, our Christmas celebration is not as we would want it to be but will celebrate nonetheless, as we acknowledge the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,” said PM Andrew.

I wish all my fellow Jamaicans a Merry Christmas, and as you celebrate, please do so safely.
Besides PM stated that “Let us use the season, as families, to reflect and to put our hope and prayers towards a better 2021, “As we go through covid-19 pandemic I declare all our healthcare and frontline workers who continue to do an exceptional job, we owe them the security of gratitude.”
PM on COVID-19 Vaccine
PM Andrew announced some plan of action on the vaccine of COID-19. He affirmed that”, Health workers did an extremely outstanding job in the difficult conditions in the pandemic, Significant testing, and immunization news gives us an optimistic hope. Still, we could not make careless until we win the all-out battle, citizens would get the vaccine but first will be frontline workers on the priority list. He gave assurance about that all the citizens would get free cost covid-19 vaccines.
Christmas 2020 is special
Prime Minister Andrew Holness heartily advised all the citizens to celebrate Christmas 2020 at their homes with their family and friends. He requested to utilize online mode for connection. He urged all the respective citizens who have recently travelled internationally to self-quarantine and keep following social-distancing.

As we go through this pandemic, I acknowledge all our healthcare and frontline workers who continue to do an outstanding job; we owe them a debt of gratitude.
