On Tuesday this week, Cabinet approved the appointment of Wayne ‘Benji’ Benjamin as a Cultural Ambassador of the Commonwealth of Dominica.

Dominica: On Tuesday this week, Cabinet approved the appointment of Wayne ‘Benji’ Benjamin as a Cultural Ambassador of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Business and Diaspora Relations, Edward Registe, gave this information in the week’s cabinet meeting.
Minister Edward Registe explained why the Cabinet selected Wayne ‘Benji’ Benjamin as a Cultural Ambassador of Dominica. This title will be effective on Feburary1, 2021

These prominent people will invest their time and talent worldwide. They will promote their country’s culture and express the qualities of their nation. They will also give opportunities to the country’s budding talents in sports, Music, Literature, and other prominent skills.
Achievements of Wayne ‘Benji’ Benjamin
He is known for the music Byon genre, Wayne ‘Benji’ Benjamin, Lead vocalist of the Triple Kay International Band. In 2009, he was the first runner-up in the respective competition held in St Kitts and Nevis.
Wayne ‘Benji’ Benjamin has promoted his country and his people. He always represented Dominica. He always proved himself as a true patriot.
Music is something that can connect people of a diverse community. It doesn’t have bars of language, lyrics, and beats of music promoting culture and expressing the real image of any culture.
On the other hand, Dominica is known for its diverse culture. Citizens here live for their culture. Dominica is often observed as a community that is relocating from communalism to that of individualism. The economy is a developing one that earlier depended on the agriculture sector. People have often been observed keenly towards sports and music.
If we talk about Minister Edward Registe, he is a Dominican politician and current Cabinet Minister. He was designated a Dominica Labour Party (DLP) Senator and Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly of Commonwealth Dominica. Edward Registe is a former General Secretary of the Dominica Labour Party.
