Saint John’s: The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment of Antigua and Barbuda informed the general public that the inauguration ceremony of the Glansville Polyclinic would be open on Tuesday, February 1 2022, to serve the people of Pares, Glansville, Seatons and Willikies with its service.
The Polyclinic will be offering the services of Antenatal care, Postnatal care, Well Baby Clinic (Child Health), Neonatal assessment, 5-year assessment, Family planning, Wound care, Hypertension and diabetes clinic, Community Psychiatry clinic, Community nutrition counselling, Daily medical clinic, District Doctor visits, Routine vaccination, Covid 19 vaccine administration, Health education / Health promotion sessions.
The Polyclinic will be operative from Mondays through to Thursdays from 8 am to 4:30 pm and from 8 am to 3 pm on Fridays. The announcement of the opening was done by the health and environment ministry via a press release on January 29, 2022.
Antigua and Barbuda government further noted that it remains committed to enhancing the standard of living of its citizens and the country’s growth.

As per the definition stated by Wikipedia, a polyclinic is a clinic or health care establishment which aims to provide both general and specialist examinations and treatments for a wide variety of diseases and injuries to outpatients and is usually independent of a hospital.
