Along with 26 countries, St.Kitts-Nevis tamed the COVID-19 pandemic

World: According to EndCoronavirus.org, St.Kitts-Nevis is one of 27 countries that have subjugated the COVID-19 pandemic principally, stated by a self-described worldwide volunteer alliance of over 4,000 scientists and other community stakeholders.

As of December 19, some of the 27 countries include New Zealand, Australia, Bahamas, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Djibouti, Dominica, Fiji, Holy See, Iceland, Laos, Liechtenstein, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Monaco, Mongolia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Samoa, Holy Lee, San Marino, Solomon Islands, Somalia, Sudan, Taiwan, Timor-Leste, Trinidad and Tobago, Vanuatu and Vietnam. 

According to scientists, St.Kitts-Nevis has the lowest COVID-19 Rate in the Hemisphere. The Federation of St Kitts and Nevis possesses the lowest number of COVID-19 cases amongst the Caribbean islands.

St Kitts and Nevis had only recorded 28 cases with zero deaths. This reflects the government’s efficient management of the virus since the pandemic begins, which included shutting down borders from March to October.

If we talk about the management of Covid-19, Prime Minister Timothy Harris’s government worked systematically to fight the amid coronavirus situation.

Following protocols and mending all the regulations that restricted the expansion of deadly coronavirus. The nation prioritizes its people over politics and economy. They shut down the borders when they got to know about the cases of lethal coronavirus.
