Bangladesh: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Bangladesh to attend the Golden Jubilee festivities of independence and the birth anniversary of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the nation’s founder and father of current regime PM Sheikh Hasina.
Indian PM’s visit ignited agitation among people and violent protests at Dhaka’s main mosque. That protests were disbanded by police using tear gas and rubber bullets.
These ambush by the police officials created a chaos and made several people injured, and Recent reports stated that 7 leftists killed by Bangladeshi police as they were protesting against PM Modi Bangladesh visit.

Thousands of protesters had assembled outside Dhaka’s Baitul Mokarram mosque after the Friday prayers. Sources stated violent clashes broke out after one disagreement of protesters began hailing their shoes as a sign of disrespect to Modi, and another group tried to halt them.
Local media announced the protesters who tried to stop the shoe-waving are joined with the governing Awami League party, which condemned the other protest party for endeavouring to create chaos during Indian PM Modi’s visit.
An independent organisation, DOAM, tweeted, “Shocking scenes of Bangladeshi police firing at an anti-Modi protest at Baitul Mukarram mosque in #Dhaka. Armed Awami goons backed by police also joined in combating Muslim worshippers.”
Another Twitter user stated, “People blazed mural of #sheikhmujib in protest of the killing of #Muslims amid protest against #Modi in #Chattogram.”
Another user tweeted, “Four Super Ultra Kattarpanthi Radical Isl∆mists shot dead by Forces as Demonstrations organised by Left & Radical Groups over PM Modi’s visit to Dhaka turned violent.”
According to the news site, At the protest in outside the Baitul Mukarram mosque, Hefazat followers slammed Indian PM Modi for “killing Muslims in Gujarat, Kashmir, Delhi and various parts of India”. They took their shoes in their hands to demonstrate disrespect to the Indian PM Modi.
Their agitation demands answers from Indian PM, some from the crowd were hailing, “We don’t want Modi,” this is the anger of the public and every people who want to express their problems to the leader.
