On the 60th birthday of Princess Diana, mother to 2 British Princes, Prince Harry and Prince William. These 2 Princes would be appearing together to unveil the statue of their mother, Princess Diana, at Sunken Garden in Kensington Palace. This event would be the first event where the 2 princes would be spotted together since the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral that was in April of their grandfather Prince Philip, the queen’s husband of more than 70 years, after which they have reported to have argued.

The statue that has been supposed to unveiled would be done in honour of Princess Diana, who was dead in a car accident in Paris during the year of 1997.

The ceremony scaled back due to Covid restrictions. Due to which the event would be a small event and a very personal moment for the royal family. This event of unveiling the statue would be the focus of intense media coverage. The event also holds importance as the 2 brothers Prince William and Prince Harry, would be speaking to each other.

Royal commentator Penny Junor said that he thought that would going be very awkward. They would be putting on a show because the cameras would be there, but neither of them has been very good at hiding their emotions.

At the time Princess Diana died, 2 princes were at their young age. Prince William was 15 years old, and Prince Harry was 12 years old.

Officials have described it as a small event that is supposed to be attended by the selected group of people that includes the royal princes and princess Diana’s close family at Kensington Palace, The place where prince William who has been 39 years old, lives with his family. Prince Harry, who has been 36 years old, was also using to live at the palace a few months ago, but now prince Harry is residing in California. He has been living with his wife Meghan in California after they both walked down from their royal engagements.

The statue would be the second memorial of Diana in London after a 210-metre long fountain was unveiled in Hyde Park in 2004.
