Premier Brantley visits schools in Nevis to present ‘award of excellence’ to mark Int’l boy child day

St Kitts and Nevis: Premier of Nevis and former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade- Mark Brantley, visited the schools in Nevis and presented “Award of Excellence” to two boys to mark the celebration of the International Day of the Boy Child.

Premier of Nevis Brantley, visited the Nevis International Secondary School to present the award to Thiree Trotman.

He expressed pleasure and stated, “Today I was honoured to visit the Nevis International Secondary School and present an award of Excellence to Master Thiree Trotman to mark the occasion of the International Day of the Boy Child.”

While praising Brantley mentioned, “Young Thiree has had to overcome much more than most at his age having lost both his parents and yet his Principal described him as someone who is always smiling, always kind and willing to help others, the embodiment of good character and excellence.”

Furthermore, he outlined, “Heartiest congratulations to Master Thiree Trotman and to the Principal and staff at the NISS.”

Additionally, Brantley also visited to the Elizabeth Pemberton Primary school to present the award to Joshua Santos.

Brantley on the Facebook post wrote, “Proud today to visit the Elizabeth Pemberton Primary school and present an award of Excellence to Master Joshua Santos on the occasion of the International Day of the Boy Child.”

“This young man greeted me with a bright “God bless you” and all his teachers and peers spoke highly of him,” he added.

While congratulating the kid, premier said, “Congratulations to the Head Teacher and staff of EPPS and heartiest congratulations to Master Joshua Santos who embodies the characteristics of excellence.”
