interCaribbean Airways express gratitude to be a sponsor of Caribbean Week

The Caribbean Week was sponsored by interCaribbean Airways, which expressed gratitude to be a part of it.

Caribbean: New York City, United States (US), has been celebrating Caribbean Week since June 5. The event has experienced an incomparable spirit from the Caribbean diaspora as the event returns to NYC. The Week was sponsored by interCaribbean Airways, which expressed gratitude to be a part of it.

interCaribbean Airways took it to social media and expressed pleasure to be selected as an official sponsor. “We are happy to support and sponsor the long-awaited 2023 Caribbean Week, the first in three years, spearheaded by the Caribbean Tourism Organization in ‘the Big Apple’, New York,” the Airways stated through social media.”

The interCaribbean Airways have also shared brief details of the exciting array of events, which were showcased during the Week. As per the update, the event included the Tourism Marketing Conference and the Media Marketplace. This was a platform where tourism executives engaged with international media and shared their remarks.

The Caribbean Week has been presented by Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) Foundation as the signature event of the CTO made a victorious return to “The Big Apple”. According to the schedule shared, the event will be concluded on June 8, 2023.

It was anticipated that Caribbean Week in New York would be an excellent combination of networking opportunities and business sessions. The Caribbean was celebrated in such a way that it will assist in the awareness creation of the Caribbean’s diverse offerings, desirability, and resilience.

It levelled the playing field so that all destinations have an equal opportunity to tell their unique stories, as per the organising authorities noted.

As per the official update, throughout the Week, a Welcome Cocktail Reception was hosted by CTO Allied Members. It also outlined that new trends in destination growth can be explored through a Tourism Industry Marketing Conference.

The Week saw the attendance of around 20 countries and territories, whose representatives donated and assisted in the fundraising. Reportedly, funds raised during the Week will contribute to scholarships and grants for Caribbean students in the region and the diaspora.
