HelpAWS shares transformational journey of Nemo

HelpAWS has recently shared transformation journey of Nemo, a pup who entered the shelter in miserable condition.

Castries, Saint Lucia: HelpAWS has recently shared transformation journey of Nemo, a pup who entered the shelter in miserable condition.

It mentioned that it’s been a difficult few weeks here at the shelter. With no flights and temps only getting hotter by the day, there’s almost no way to get our babies off the island and to their forever homes. But even with all the difficulties we’ve been going through lately we wanted to share with everyone the journey of a pup who came to the dog shelter in such bad shape and a storybook ending that keeps us going when things get hard.

“If you’ve been following us for a while you may remember Nemo,” it added.

The organisation also mentioned that he came so broken and alone and one could see at the slightest glance that there was hope left in his eyes. He was covered in fleas, ticks and mange.

“Could you imagine feeling uncomfortable in your own skin? Although you had little left to leave for you still gave us kisses when we stretched out our hand, still remaining humble and sweet even though life hadn’t been kind. It took time to nurse you back to health. It was so worth it,” HelpAWS outlined.

The recovery Nemo made can only be described as a transformation. Watching him regain his strength and become hopeful again was incredible and so inspiring.

“Nemo you might be named after a clown fish but you’re a hero!! It was so amazing seeing you start to believe in yourself and regain the confidence you deserved. Although you had been deprived of touch, it had turned into your love language,” it added.

HelpAWS stated, “Although you moved on to bigger and better things and your forever family you so badly deserved, we must say we miss you Nemo. But with all that said it warms our hearts to see how far you’ve come and we think of you everyday. Pups like you Nemo who might seem to have no fight left but push through and see the light at the end of the tunnel make it possible for us to keep doing what we do.”

In conclusion it mentioned, “And to Nemo’s forever family, thank you for creating and giving this amazing pup the life and story that he so badly earned.”
