Dominica: Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit congratulated the West Indies team for winning the second game in the three-match series against Bangladesh on July 3, 2022 (Sunday).

He further praised the organisers, authorities and the ground staff for successfully hosting the cricket match at the Windsor Park Stadium. He also thanked the cricket lovers of Dominica for their presence at the venue.

Prime Minister Skerrit took social media and stated, “#Dominica wins following the two T20Is played at Windsor Park over the weekend. Congratulations to the #Windies for winning the second game in the three-match series against Bangladesh on Sunday.”

“I commend the organisers, grounds staff, other support staff and you, the cricket-loving Dominican public, for presenting our venue as the best place for cricket in the Caribbean. We are, without a doubt, ALL IN with our team,” he added.

Prime Minister Skerrit also participated in the coin-tossing ceremony and wished the West Indies team “All the best”. He stated, “On Saturday, I participated in the coin toss ceremony ahead of the first game at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Roseau. WI All in!!”
