Carnival City: Ajoné Bleau and Lutrell John crowned Mr and Miss Teenage 2023

Antigua Recreation Ground came alive last evening for The UWI Five Islands Mr and Miss Teenage Pageant during the celebration of Carnival City.

West Indies: Antigua Recreation Ground came alive last evening for The UWI Five Islands Mr and Miss Teenage Pageant during the celebration of Carnival City. Fourteen dynamic delegates representing ten schools took to the stage to bring their talents to Antigua and Barbuda, according to the update shared by the University.

Accordingly, Ajoné Bleau of the Princess Margaret Secondary School was crowned as the 2023 Miss Teenage, while Lutrell John of the Sir Novelle Richards Academy emerged from a competitive field as the 2023 Mr Teenage.

Further, the University campus extended best wishes to the winners and noted, “The UWI Five Islands Campus congratulates the winners and all the delegates in this year’s event.”

Earlier, the UWI Five Islands and the Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission partnered to give a chance to win tickets to The UWI Five Islands Mister and Miss Teenage Pageant.

The organisers asked the interested candidates to follow the following directions:

The UWI also asked to Unlock Funding Opportunities! It urged citizens to register now for their Grant Proposal Writing Course.

The Lifelong Learning Unit at The UWI FIC embarked on this transformative journey starting on Tuesday, 25th July, at 5:30 pm. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm for seven and a half weeks.
